I just returned on Saturday from a week long cruise to Progreso and Cozumel Mexico. It was a fantastic time to connect with my children prior to school starting. I feel so relaxed and it gave me time to reconnect with my own changing schedule (work vs. taking the children to school) in a few weeks.
I actually had time to process and define areas of my life that need to further change. I was able to talk and convene with my parts during the trip, making sure that this super attitude that I have isn’t some mask. I’m confident and sure that my path is always going to be hard, but NEVER too hard to handle.
I’ll continue with the attitude that life is full of mountains to climb, and it’s not about reaching the top but about the experiences that we have while on our way up. And, once up, you need to have further experiences on the way down, in order to climb again.
Those mountains I love in Colorado gave me so many lessons…so many memories. I hope to return to them someday soon.
