My parents are very up-to-date when it comes to technology. Not everyone is in this category though, and if you’re seeking some good ideas for gifts for senior citizens, you might want to check out Jitterbug’s phones. They have plans that are customized for light users, such as someone that doesn’t get out much, but when they do, might need to call for assistance.

Senior cell phones are a great idea and offer technology to someone that might not be used to it just yet. Making the use of the phones easy is the key to really getting people to use them. I really think that cell phones for senior citizens can become a decent market. The Jitterbug site says that they offer 24-hour operator assistance where they greet callers by name, make calls for them and help with adding names to the phone list. They also use bigger backlit buttons to make it easier to use the phone and see what you’re dialing.

Sounds like they are super easy to work with and might offer you a good gift giving idea this year.
